Barrie, ON – May 15, 2025 Everis, a rapidly growing medical device company formerly known as C2Dx, has announced the appointment of Southmedic Incorporated as its exclusive Canadian distribution partner. The agreement marks a key milestone in Everis’ continued expansion and its mission to advance access to high-performance otolaryngology solutions across global markets.

Effective August 1, 2025, Southmedic will lead national distribution, sales, service, and support for Everis’ portfolio of ENT (ear, nose, and throat) technologies, including:

  • Biodesign® Otologic Repair Grafts
  • Duraplasty Grafts
  • Sialendoscopy Instruments and Accessories

Headquartered in Barrie, Ontario, Southmedic will work closely with hospitals, surgical centers, and ENT specialists across Canada to provide localized clinical education and customer support.

“We are excited to welcome Everis to our portfolio and bring their cutting-edge ENT innovations to Canadian surgeons and hospitals,” said James Cunningham, Vice President of Sales – Canada at Southmedic. “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to improving patient outcomes through high-quality, evidence-based surgical technologies.”

Southmedic’s decades-long track record in surgical distribution and strong ENT presence make it a natural fit for Everis as the company scales its footprint in North America. The collaboration positions Southmedic as a comprehensive partner for ENT care, with a portfolio that spans head and neck surgery, sinus procedures, otologic repair, and oral cavity interventions.

Since its inception, Everis has focused on delivering clinically proven, high-value technologies that enhance surgical performance and patient care. The company’s rebrand from C2Dx to Everis reflects its broader vision and commitment to growth through innovation, strategic partnerships, and global reach.

This new partnership ensures Canadian healthcare providers will now benefit from faster access to Everis products, in-country support, and an expanded network of clinical resources.
